Ordering a handmade, personalised piece from Aquarian Designs is simple. Here's exactly what happens from the moment you find something you love to the moment it arrives at your door.
Step 1 — Choose Your Piece
Browse our collections and find something that speaks to you (or to the person you're buying for). Every item in our store is handmade and can be personalised — so don't worry if you don't see exactly what you're after. We love a custom request.
Not sure what to get? Send us a message and we'll help you find the perfect piece for your occasion and budget.
Step 2 — Personalise It
At checkout, use the notes field to tell us:
- Your preferred colours (if applicable)
- Any names, dates, or messages to include
- The occasion (birthday, wedding, new baby, etc.)
- Any other special requests
The more detail you give us, the more personal we can make it. If you're not sure, just leave a note and we'll reach out to confirm before we start making.
Step 3 — Miranda Makes It by Hand
Once your order is placed, Miranda gets to work. Every piece is made individually, by hand, in our Gold Coast studio. We don't use templates or mass-production — your piece is made specifically for you, from scratch.
Please allow 3–5 business days for your order to be made before it ships. For complex or highly customised pieces, we'll let you know if we need a little extra time.
Step 4 — It Ships to You
Once your piece is complete and quality-checked, we'll pack it carefully and ship it Australia-wide. You'll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking details so you know exactly when to expect it.

Can I request a completely custom piece?
Absolutely. We love custom orders. Message us with your idea and we'll let you know if we can make it happen.
What if I need it urgently?
Get in touch before ordering and we'll do our best to accommodate your timeline.
What's your returns policy?
Because each piece is made to order and personalised, we're unable to accept returns for change of mind. However, if your item arrives damaged or isn't what you ordered, we'll always make it right. Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently we ship within Australia only. Contact us if you're based overseas and we'll see what we can do.
